In fiscal year 2026, the average single family home was assessed at $2,844,212 while the average condominium was assessed at $988,113. Those numbers represent a 2.25% and 2.8% year-over-year increase respectively.

Meanwhile the average price of a single family home sold for $2,935,296 in 2025 and the number of singles that changed hands grew to 121, 13 more than sold in all of 2024. The increase in singles sold in 2025 broke a three year streak of declines.

The median price of a condo sold in Brookline in 2025 increased by 8.2% to $940,000. The average condo sold for an all-time high, $1,173,615. Meanwhile 461 condos were sold in 2025, 9% more than sold in all of 2024.
